ACNE PRONE SKINCARE HAUL FROM AMAZON FOR UNDER $100

Hi!! Let's talk about my acne prone skincare haul from Amazon. Everything together was just under $100. I'll tell you why I chose everything.
Now let's get into it! I had "saved for later" too many times and I needed to purchase the sheet mask recommendation from my esthetician before reaching the halfway point between Facial #1 and Facial #2. I had my first ever facial on 1/3/25 to help me soothe a cystic acne breakout. I'd also heard about popping my own pimples with a needle and I needed to see what this needle looked like because I had a very painful cyst that needed to go. I'm not a dermatologist and don't give medical advice so to each their own, but that's what prompted the search.
#1 Lancets - I needed something to pop pimples for me that are usually ready to go, and I had one in particular that was past eviction notice. I used these on a few whiteheads and my cystic pimple and I was so impressed with how easily the pimples cleared after. I will say to use with caution for cystic pimples and don't go too crazy. I made a few holes and let the pimple drain on it's own overtime.
It's currently in recovery mode and I'm happy that I won't have a scar from popping. At this point, I make a small hole, grab tissue to cover my fingers, and literally cozy up to the pimple with my fingers because that's all the pressure I need.
These are the ones I bought after a few comparisons because they're disposable and the needle is tiny and doesn't break too deep into the skin:
#2 Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel - This is a gel moisutrizer formulated for acne prone skin. The formula mimics the skin's pH level and contains acne soothing ingredients like aloe vera, panthenol and allantoin. The gel is clear and I do think it helps with redness now that I've used it for two days. I really enjoy this - a little break from Japanese beauty to try German beauty. I always find hidden gems on Amazon when I take a moment to look at the ingredient list. This also rules out duds. Try it for yourself:
#3 Dear Derm Bio Cellulose Mask - This Collagen mask is insanely hydrating and 100% lightened the redness of my post-acne scars last night. The mask is intense and has an interesting cellulose texture; it really is like a second layer of skin. You can feel the hydrating soaking in. There are microbial fermentation in this mask that help to sooth and heal the skin. I'm going to use one every night and see how my skin changes but I don't think any product has healed my skin the way this mask did. They are SATURATED with essence, I'm going to keep the leftover essence in a separate bottle so it doesn't go to waste lol.
I also read that this is patented technology. The mask contain microbial cellulose which is "inoculated with a strain in furite juice which is natural material made by cultivation and fermentation." This contains FIBRIN, which is what our body uses to stop the bleeding and form blood clots, and is gluten-free and cruelty-free.
I'm going to take a before and after for you guys and make a dedicated video on how cool these masks are. Stay tuned.
#4 Erborian Women's CC Red Correct with Centella - I am not a girl who wears makeup everyday and one of the hardest things about this acne struggle is when I don't want to wear my skin, and do need a bit of makeup to feel confident. I saw this suggested by a Korean makeup artist, and she used it on a client with skin similar to mine. When I say it worked to even out the skin tone, I mean it literally works like magic before your eyes. Even my husband noticed. He asked what I did differently that day, and the only thing I'd done was apply this CC cream. It works as one step for me, I no longer add powder or anything else. Just the CC cream while my skin recovers. I will 100% purchase the larger size when mine runs out. Don't wait if you had redness, this will work for you and you'll feel a lot better.
That's all for now, I love having this blog because I am too verbose for any of these caption restrictions. Thank you for reading and we'll chat again soon!
